Does AirCastPro work with my photo booth app?
AirCastPro supports AirPrint and IPP printing, making it compatible with virtually all iOS photo booth apps and many supported event-printing applications. If your app includes a compatible printing function, it can typically print through AirCastPro. Contact us before ordering if you would like to confirm your specific app and workflow.
Why use AirCastPro instead of a laptop?
AirCastPro is designed specifically to simplify photo booth printing. Connect your professional photo printer, join the AirCastPro network from your booth device, select the printer in your supported app and begin printing. There are no printer drivers to install, complicated sharing settings to configure or separate laptop to maintain.
Do I need internet access to print?
No. AirCastPro creates its own dedicated local wireless network, allowing supported photo booth workflows to print without venue Wi-Fi or an internet connection.
Can I print and text photos at the same time?
Yes. AirCastPro can connect to supported external Wi-Fi, a mobile hotspot or an Ethernet network, allowing your booth to print while compatible apps continue using the internet for texting, emailing and sharing photos.
How long does it take to send a photo to the printer?
It generally takes approximately 3 to 7 seconds for AirCastPro to process the image and begin sending it to the printer. Actual timing can vary based on the image, app, network connection, printer and selected print size. The printer’s normal printing time begins after it receives the file.
Does AirCastPro 3 support wired printing?
Yes. AirCastPro 3 includes Gigabit Ethernet for wired networking. A supported USB-C iPad can also connect using a compatible USB-C to Ethernet adapter, allowing you to operate your photo booth without relying on Wi-Fi. View AirCastPro setup guides.
Can it print 4x6 photos and 2x6 booth strips?
Yes. AirCastPro can print standard photos and photo booth strips with supported printers, media and applications. Available print sizes and cutting options depend on the connected printer and the capabilities of your photo booth app.
Can I use more than one printer?
Yes. AirCastPro supports multiple-printer workflows, including printer pooling with supported printer models and configurations. Printer pooling can distribute jobs between compatible printers to increase capacity and provide a more efficient workflow for busy booths and high-volume events.
